Rooms and Numbers:

Westfield Nursery is registered with OFSTED and is registered for 78 children, which are divided as follows:-

Monkey Room - 3 months - 15 months - 9 babies - ratio 1:3

Giraffe Room - 15 months - 2 years - 9 babies - ratio 1:3

Lion Room - 18 months - 2.3 years - 12 children - ratio 1:3

Elephant Room - 2 years - 3 years - 16 children - ratio 1:4

The Jungle - 3 years - 5 years - 32 children - ratio 1:8

Westfield Nursery provides highly qualified, mature and experienced staff. OFSTED state that at least half the staff team should hold a level 2 qualification, at Westfield Nursery more than 50% of our staff hold their level 3 qualification. The staffing in each room is as follows:-

Monkey Room: 3 Nursery Nurses & 1 Nursery Assistant

Giraffe Room: 2 Nursery Nurses & 1 Nursery Assistant

Lion Room: 3 Nursery Nurses & 1 Nursery Assistant

Elephant Room: 3 Nursery Nurses & 1 Nursery Assistant

The Jungle: 2 Nursery Nurses & 2 Nursery Assistants

Westfield Nursery employs 2 full time staff members to cover staff sickness and holidays. These are in addition to the above staff.
